Market falls for the fourth consecutive day to close at 1134.80 points; both newly listed companies hit the negative circuit today

On the opening day of the week, market lost 0.51% or 5.78 points and closed at 1134.80 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.23.24 Crore which was achieved from trade of 830,068 units of shares traded through 7,336 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.

Asha Laghubitta (ALBSL) posted the highest turnover today. The scrip posted a turnover of Rs.1.55 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.492 per share. Promoter Shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBLPO) was traded the most today. 63,703 units of the scrip were traded today. The LTP of the stock stands at Rs.165 per share.

Nagbeli Laghubitta (NBBL) was today’s top gainer after it gained 3.39% or 20 points to close at Rs.610 per share. Both the newly listed companies hit the negative circuit today. Universal Power Company (UPCL) lost 10% or 30 points to close at Rs.270 per share while Shivam Cement (SHIVM) lost 9.91% or 46 points to close at Rs.418 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.17 points to close at 241.19 points while Float Index lost 0.41 points to close at 82.64 points.

Hydropower was the only gaining sub-index today as it gained 0.09%. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone with Hotels losing the most at 1.10%.
