Market falls by 4.79 points; Ngadi Group Power gains more than 4%

After falling since the very morning, the market today saw a loss of 4.79 points and closed at 1172.30 points marking a fall of 0.41%. The turnover today was Rs.19.21 Crore which was achieved from trade of 604,438 units of shares through 3,274 transactions trading scrips of 163 companies.

The stocks having highest turnover were Nepal Investment Bank (NIB), NMB Bank (NMB) and Mega Bank (MEGA). While MEGA achieved the most shares traded followed by NMB and Janata Bank Nepal (JBNL).

Sensitive Index fell by 0.80 points while the Float Index fell by 0.34 points.

All of the sub-indices were in the red zone today. Life Insurance sector and Manufacturing & Production sector stood losing the most.
