Market falls by 13 points on opening day of the week; Nadep Laghubitta hits positive circuit today as well

The market that was falling since opening, closed to lose 13.01 points or 1.06% at 1214.36 points. The turnover was at Rs.40.75 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,337,526 units of shares through 4,745 transactions trading scrips of 160 companies in the process.

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) posted the highest turnover of Rs.2.06 Crore with LTP at Rs.932 per share. National Hydropower Company (NHPC) topped the shares traded list with trade of 73,495 units of shares.

Nadep Laghubitta (NADEP) was today’s top gainer as it continues its gaining streak. It gained 123 points or 9.98% with LTP at Rs.1355 per share. Laxmi Laghubitta (LLBS) was today’s top loser as it lost 97 points or 9.94%. The LTP of the microfinance company stands at Rs.879 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.71 points and closed at 257.53 points while Float Index lost 1.03 points and closed at 88.14 points.

Only Manufacturing and Products sector and Others sector were among gaining sub-indices gaining 0.11% and 0.13% respectively. The Hotels sector lost the most after losing 2.02% or 37.22 points.
