Market ends the losing streak as it gains 3.87 points today; Promoter Shares of Muktinath Bikas Bank worth Rs.2 Crore traded

The market today fell to 1132 points towards the middle of the day but it ended up gaining 0.34% or 3.87 points. The benchmark index closed at 1138.67 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.24.27 Crore which was achieved from trade of 929,397 units of shares traded through 5,254 transactions trading scrip of 169 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Muktinath Bikas Bank (MNBBLP) dominated the trade today. A total of 100,000 units of the scrip were traded today posting a turnover of Rs.2.08 Crore. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.208 per share.

Global IME Laghubitta (GILB) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.86% or 57 points to close at Rs.1029 per share. Similar to yesterday, both newly listed companies hit the negative circuit today. Universal Power Company (UPCL) lost 10% or 27 points and closed at Rs.243 per share while Shivam Cements (SHIVM) lost 9.80% or 41 points and closed at Rs.377 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.95 points and closed at 242.25 points while Float Index gained 0.34 points and closed at 82.98 points.

Hydropower, Finance, Manufacturing & Processing and Others ended in the red zone today as they lost 0.15%, 0.35%, 1.18% and 0.57% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone with Life Insurance sector gaining the most at 0.87%.
