Market ends the day with 2.83 points gain and SLBSL's positive circuit; turnover amount takes a hit as it merely crosses Rs.23 Crore

The market today was in the green zone for most part of the day. The benchmark index gained 0.25% or 2.83 points and closed at 1147.10 points. Today’s turnover was of Rs.23.10 Crore which was achieved from trade of 736,769 units of shares traded through 4,489 transactions trading scrips of 163 listed companies in the process.

Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) was traded he most today after 104,687 units of shares were traded posting a turnover of Rs.2.55 Crore. The LTP of the hydropower project stands at Rs.243 per share.

Samudayik Laghubitta (SLBSL) was today’s top gainer after it hit the positive circuit. The microfinance company gained 9.88% or 64 points to close at Rs.712 per share. Purnima Bikas Bank (PURBL) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.37% or 7 points to close at Rs.153 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.74 points and closed at 244.02 points while Float Index gained 0.19 points and closed at 83.36 points.

Finance and Manufacturing & Processing were the only sub-indices in the red zone after losing 0.15% and 0.99% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone with Hydropower gaining the most at 0.58%.
