Market ends in green, turnover falls slightly

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has increased by 3.28 points today (0.22%) to close trading at 1465.84. Today the turnover was Rs. 29.91 crores, Rs.4.04 crores less than the last trading day. Today, Nepse Index opened at 1462.56 points, and reached to 1468.43 in the second trading hour. However, it then decreased and ultimately ended up at 1465.84 points. 3 lakh units Promoter shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVUPO) and 40,325 units of Prabhu Bank (PRVU) were traded the most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 29.91 crores, out of which more than Rs.6.03 crores (approx. 20.16% of total turnover) was contributed solely by transactions of Prabhu Bank Promoter Share (PRVUPO). Today, 7.29 lakh unit shares were traded through 2,654 transactions. Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) and Rastriya Beema Company Limited Bank Limited Promoter Shares (RBCLPO) were the highest gainers. Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) has hit positive circuit today. Green Development Bank Limited (GRDBL) and Purnima Bikas Bank Limited (PURBL) lost the most today. Sensitive index increased by 0.91 points whereas float index also increased by just 0.1 points. All the sectors except Development Banks, Hydropower and Finance ended up in green today.
