Market drops to 1181 points after losing double digits today; Nepal Community Development Bank hits the positive circuit

The market today lost double digits points and closed at 1181.10 points. The benchmark index lost 0.89% or 10.58 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.73.51 Crore which was achieved from trade of 2,788,886 units of shares traded through 7,070 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) posted the highest turnover today of Rs.6.41 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.527 per share. Promoter Shares of Kumari Bank Limited (KBLPO) were traded the most after 398,477 units of shares were traded. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.145 per share.

Nepal Community Development Bank (NCDB) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 9.52% or 12 points and closed at Rs.138 per share. Joshi Hydropower (JOSHI) was today’s top loser after it lost 8.12% or 13 points to close at Rs.147 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.15 points and closed at 252.85 points while Float Index lost 0.80 points and closed at 86.58 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone today after losing points. Top loser among them was Manufacturing and Processing sector after it lost 1.77%.
