Market down by 26.03 points with turnover of just Rs 39.73 crore; All sectors landed in red

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 26.03 points or 1.76% to close at 1456.82 points. Nepse Index opened at 1483.26 points and was seen in a downward trend in the first trading hour. It slightly rebounded in the second trading hour, but eventually fell to 1456.82. 41,345 units share of Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited Promoter Share (JBBLPO) and 38,706 unit shares of Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) were traded the most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 39.73 crore where more than 67.16 lakh units shares were traded through 3,835 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 5.84 and 2.09 points respectively. All trading groups landed in red. Insurance sector dipped by 216.96 points.
