Market down by 25.04 points with turnover above Rs 59 crore; all sector landed in red

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has lowered by 25.04 points to close trading at 1407.53 points today. Today, Nepse Index opened at 1432.65 points and after that it was seen in downward trend in the first hour of trading when it plunged to 1394.30. Later, market was seen in an increasing mode. 89,209 units of  Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited Promoter Share (JBBLPO) and 54,942 unit shares of Kailash Bikas Bank Limtied Promoter Share (KBBLPO) were traded the most today. NB Insurance Limited (NBIL) hit positive circuit today. Manjushree Finance Institution Limited (MFIL), Premier Insurance Limited, Progressive Finance Limited (PROFL), Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) and NLG Insurance Limited (NLG) hit negative circuit today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 59.53 crore where more than 10.41 lakh units shares were traded through 4,818 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 5.48 and 1.99 points respectively. All sectors landed in red. Sub-indices of insurance and hydropower sectors have dipped by 191.63 points and 30.72 points respectively.
