Market down by 12.22 points with turnover of Rs 90.11 crore

In the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 12.22 points or 0.69 % to close at 1766.91 points. Nepse Index opened at 1779.15 points and went down to 1768.07 points during the first trading hour of the day and was seen on upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 90.11 crore where more than 9.16 lakh units’ shares were traded through 5,240 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 0.73 and 0.76 points respectively. Commercial banks, development banks, Finance, Manufacturing and Production sector at Nepse landed on red whereas Hydropower, Hotel, Insurance and Others sector landed on green.
