Market correction observed as NEPSE loses almost 2% today; four companies hit the circuit, two positive and two negative

The market today reached high of 1360 points in the opening minutes after which the market closed with loss of 1.98% or 26.54 points. The benchmark index closed at 1317.11 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.97 Arba achieved through trade of 5,846,238 units of shares traded through 20,446 transactions trading scrips of 182 listed companies in the process.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) posted a massive turnover of Rs.20.92 Crore with LTP at Rs.1280 per share. Nepal Credit and Commercial Bank (NCCB) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 568,495 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.233 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit while two hit the negative circuit. Multipurpose Finance Company (MPFL) and Global IME Bank (GBIME) gained 9.77% and 9.72% respectively. Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) and Pokhara Finance Limited (PFL) lost 10% and 9.82% respectively.

Sensitive Index lost 4.86 points and closed at 283.53 points while Float Index lost 1.86 points and closed at 93.36 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points today. Trading sector was the top loser after losing 6.34% or 54.59 points.
