Market continues to plunge; NEPSE index dives 10.75 points today closing at 1,102.32

The market today had opened at 1,113.62 points and saw about 3 points rise in the first 15 minutes but declined for the rest of the day. The total turnover for today stood at Rs 20.99 crore with more than 6.9 lakh unit shares traded via 6,356 transactions in total.

NIC Asia Bank (NICA) scored the top position in terms of turnover reporting a total turnover of 1.37 crore. Similarly, the highest traded shares for today belonged to Goodwill Finance Co. Promoter Share (GFCLPO) with 66 thousand shares traded closing at Rs 110.

The top gainer for today is Uniliver Nepal (UNL) rising by 4.03% closing at Rs 19,621.Whereas the top loser for today is Kisan Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha (KMFL) declining by 7.55% closing at Rs 882.

The sub-indices for today was painted in red with the only exception of Manufacturing and processing sector. It grew by 33.2 points while all the other sectors’ indices went down. The highest losing sector is Non-life insurance sector diving by 69.2 points.
