Market continues to lose as turnover still below par; Prabhu Bank traded the most

The market today stood to lose 1.08% or 13.03 points and closed at 1192.75 points. The turnover today was of Rs.13.38 Crore which was achieved from trade of 443,355 units of shares through 2,607 transactions trading scrips of 131 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank (PRVU) dominated the turnover and shares traded after trade of 50,777 units of shares posting a turnover of Rs.1.25 Crore. Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) posted a turnover of Rs.58.28 Lakhs while 22,136 units of Civil Bank (CBL) were traded.

Today’s top gainer was Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) after it gained 2% to close at Rs.8.16 per unit followed by Oriental Hotels (OHL) gaining 1.91% to close at Ts.427 per share.

Api Power Company (API) lost the most today after losing 9.81% or 16 points to close at Rs.147 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.66 points to close at 253.42 while Float Index lost 0.92 points to close at 86.61 points.

Only Finance sub-index closed in the green zone, gaining 0.42 points. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone.
