Market continues to grow after consistently gaining for the whole day; closes to gain 19.14 points today

The market today was in the green zone for the whole day as it was consistently growing since it opened. The benchmark index gained 1.52% or 19.14 points and closed at 1279.29 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.95.03 Crore which was achieved from trade of 3,408,374 units of shares traded through 9,609 transactions trading scrips of 172 companies in the process.

In terms of turnover, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead with a turnover of Rs.9.09 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.312 per share. In terms of volume, Janata Bank Limited (JBNL) stood ahead after 296,462 units of shares were traded today. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.202 per share.

Everest Insurance Company (EIC) continues to hit the positive circuit. The shares of the company grew by 9.77% or 38 points and closed at Rs.427 per share. Radhi Bidyut Company (RADHI) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.93% or 8 points and closed at Rs.154 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 4.80 points and closed at 276.94 points while Float Index gained 1.67 points and closed at 94.45 points.

Hydropower and Manufacturing sector were among losing sub-indices as they lost 0.94% and 0.13% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points. Hotels gained the most at 3.38%.
