Market continues to gain for fourth consecutive day; Kabeli Bikas Bank gains more than 9% today as well

After some ups and downs, the market today stood to gain 3.98 points and closed at 1210.24 points marking growth of 0.33%. Today’s turnover was of Rs.52.19 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,755,587 units of shares from 5,740 transactions trading scrips of 172 companies.

Nepal Investment Bank Promoter Shares (NIBPO) topped the list of highest turnover and most traded shares today with turnover of Rs.10.17 Crore trading 175,372 units of shares.

Kabeli Bikas Bank (KEBL) gained 9.26% today making it the highest gainer for today; it had gained more than 9% yesterday as well. The top loser for today was Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) after it lost 3.98% and fell by 10 points.

The Sensitive Index gained 0.99 points while the Float Index gained 0.33 points today.

Hydropower, Manufacturing and Production, Microfinance and Life Insurance sub-indices fell while all the other sub-indices gained today. Hotels sub-index was the highest gainer after gaining 16.09 points.

NIC Asia creates a new 1-year High, closes slightly below the new record

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) created a new 52-week high of Rs 389. Regarding the same, SS Pro has displayed the alerts. NICA eventually closed at Rs 383.
