Market closes for the week with loss of 9.92 points at 1238.56 points; Rasuwagadhi Hydropower dominates today’s trade

On the final trading day of the week, the market lost 0.79% or 9.92 points and closed at 1238.56 points. The turnover stood at Rs.45.46 Crore achieved from trade of 1,877,542 units of shares traded through 29,496 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.

The trade today was dominated by Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) with turnover of Rs.9.76 Crore achieved through trade of 450,161 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.214 per share.

Support Microfinance (SMB) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.71% or 27 points and closed at Rs.500 per share. Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) hit the negative circuit today as it lost 9.70% or 23 points and closed at Rs.214 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.96 points and closed at 268 points while Float Index lost 0.77 points and closed at 91.06 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone today after losing points. Among them Hydropower sector lost the most at 2.74% or 31.35 points.
