Market closes for the week below 1300 points after losing 15.95 points today; one company hits the positive circuit

On the last trading day of the week, the market lost 1.21% or 15.95 points falling below 1300 points. The benchmark index closed at 1297.47 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.38 Arba achieved through trade of 3,754,521 units of shares traded through 15,316 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) posted the highest turnover at Rs.18.40 Crore with LTP of Rs.1100 per share. Global IME Bank (GBIME) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 522,413 units of share. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.296 per share.

Synergy Power Development Limited (SPDL) hit the positive circuit as it gained 9.47% or 9 points, closing at Rs.104 per share. Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) was today top loser after losing 6.96% or 1 point to close at Rs.9.35 per unit.

Sensitive Index lost 3.59 points and closed at 278.72 points awhile Float Index lost 1.33 points and closed at 91.94 points.

Others and Life Insurance were among gaining sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
