Market closes for the week at 1344.59 points after losing minimal points today; one company hits the positive circuit

The market today reached a high of 1355 points but closed with loss of 0.10% or 1.39 points. The benchmark index closed for the week at 1344.59 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.77 Arba achieved through trade of 3,720,092 units of shares traded through 17,698 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) posted the highest turnover of Rs.12 Crore with LTP at Rs.1351 per share. Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 168,631 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.577 per share.

HDL also hit the positive circuit today. The manufacturing company gained 9.93% or 122 points, closing at Rs.1351 per share. Nepal Hydro Developers Limited (NHDL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.10% or 7 points and closed at Rs.130 per share.

Sensitive index lost 1.32 points and closed at 284.24 points while Float Index lost 0.15 points and closed at 95.28 points.
