Market closes for the week at 1318.71 points; three companies hit the positive circuit today

On the last trading day of the week, the market lost 0.17% or 2.29 points and closed at 1318.71 points. The turnover was worth Rs.94.76 Crore which was achieved from trade of 2,992,663 units of shares traded through 10,641 transactions trading scrips of 173 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Shivam Cements (SHIVM) after posting a turnover of Rs.13.41 Crore achieved through trade of 245,337 units of shares.

Three companies hit the positive circuit today. They were Shivam Cements (SIVM), Multipurpose Finance (MPFL) and Karnali Development Bank (KRBL). Agriculture Development Bank (ADBL) was today’s top loser after losing 3.88% or 17 points. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.421 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.81 points and closed at 281.44 points while Float Index lost 0.30 points and closed at 96.65 points.

Development Bank, Finance, Non-Life Insurance, Manufacturing and Mutual Funds were among the gaining sub-indices. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
