Market closes for the week at 1191.07 points after today’s 3.70 points loss; Adhikhola Laghubitta hits the positive circuit

On the last trading day of the week, the market lost 0.31% or 3.70 points and closed at 1191.07 points. The turnover stood at Rs.29.01 Crore achieved through trade of 957,881 units of shares traded through 5,797 transactions trading scrips of 167 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) posted the highest turnover today of Rs.1.51 Crore with LTP at Rs.808 per share. Api Power Company (API) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 71,673 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.116 per share.

Adhikhola Laghubitta (AKBSL) hit the positive circuit as it gained 9.78% or 36 points and closed at Rs.404 per share. Arun Kabeli Power (AKPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.91% or 11 points and closed at Rs.148 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.96 points and closed at 259.90 points while Float Index lost 0.26 points and closed at 87.92 points.

Only Non-Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
