Market closes at 1233.85 points after minimal gain of 0.13 points; two companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today gained minimal of 0.13 points and closed at 1233.85 points. The turnover stood at Rs.31.42 Crore achieved from trade of 1,821,822 units of shares traded through 11,060 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) posted the highest turnover today worth Rs.2.59 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.212 per share. In terms of volume, Promoter Shares of Mega Bank Limited (MEGAPO) stood ahead with trade of 124,451 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip is Rs.102 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Nadep Laghubitta (NADEP) gained 9.89% or 46 points and closed at Rs.511 per share; and World Merchant Banking and Finance (WMBF) gained 9.09% or 9 points and closed at Rs.108 per share. Bishal Bazar Company (BBC) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.26% or 74 points and closed at Rs.1331 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.12 points and closed at 267.72 points while Float Index lost 0.01 points and closed at 90.60 points.

Banking, Trading, Hydropower, Non-Life Insurance and Others were among losing sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
