Market closes at 1231.07 points, losing 0.23% today; Machhapuchchhre Bank shares worth Rs.13 Crore traded

The market today lost 0.23% or 2.78 points and closed at 1231.07 points. The turnover was worth Rs.48.16 Crore achieved through trade of 1,896,454 units of shares traded through 9,375 transactions trading scrips of 165 listed companies in the process.

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) dominated the trade with massive turnover of Rs.12.96 Crore achieved through trade of 507,707 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial banks stands at Rs.259 per share.

United Modi Hydropower (UMHL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 7.62% or 8 points and closed at Rs.113 per share. NLG Insurance Company (NLG) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.72% or 26 points and closed at Rs.672 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.58 points and closed at 267.14 points while Float Index lost 0.16 points and closed at 90.45 points.

Only Mutual Funds sub-index gained today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
