Mahila Sahayatra Microfinance registers outstanding 100% increase in profit; NIC Asia Laghubitta reports net profit of Rs 1.97 crore

Mahila Sahayatra Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSMBS) has reported increment in profit of about 100% in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.

According to the unaudited financial report for the first quarter published today, the microfinance has stated that its net profit increased to Rs 51.13 lakh in the first quarter as compared to Rs 25.57 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2074/75.

Its deposits have increased outstandingly to reach Rs 18.04 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76 from Rs 8.90 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. It has floated loans of Rs 89.93 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2075/76.

The borrowing of the microfinance has increased from Rs 36.60 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year to Rs 58.01 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.

Its net interest income has also increased to Rs 1.68 crore in the Q1 up from Rs 1.30 crore compared to the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. The microfinance company has an operating profit of Rs. 56.33 lakh in Q1 of the ongoing fiscal year.

MSMBS’s paid up capital stand at Rs 12.10 crore and reserve and surplus is Rs 3.23 crore in first quarter of FY 2075/76.

It’s Earnings per Share (EPS) stands at Rs 16.90, net worth per share stands is at Rs 127 and P/E ratio at 36.26 times.

NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has reported net profit of Rs 1.97 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

The microfinance company’s deposit stood at Rs 14.49 crore while the floated loans amounted to Rs 1.94 arba. Borrowings of the company stood at Rs 1.82 arba in the first quarter.

The company’s operating profit was Rs 3.01 crore while its net interest income was reported as Rs 3.11 crore.

Paid-up capital of the company sums to Rs 49 crore with Rs 1.42 crore as its reserve.
