Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank provides cash support to reward three best essay writers in province wise essay contest; joins hands with province 1 police office to curve violence against women

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, under its CSR initiative, has provided cash support to reward the best three writers in the essay competition that was organized by Province 1 Police Office Biratnagar on Kartik 25, 2075 to mark an occasion of 63rd police day.

The provincial police office had organized province wide essay competition for the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders of the province with a title “Growing cases of VAW, ways to mitigate them and citizens role towards their prevention” with an aim to sensitize the citizens about the growing cases of violences against women.

The bank has extended its support to reward the best three writers who are Ms. Monika Karki, Ms. Bipana Baraili and Ms. Samikshya Adhikari who were respectively rewarded with cash prize of Rs 20K, 15K and 10K.

The program was also attended by CM of province 1 Mr. Sherdhan Rai who handed over the cash prizes.
