Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project Officially Commences Commercial Operations

Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC), in coordination with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has officially set the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of its hydropower project to Ashwin 20, 2082, at 12:00 PM.

This decision was confirmed by the Coordination Committee on 29 Ashwin, 2082, and formal communications from NEA’s Electricity Trade Department on Kartik 19, 2082, officially recognized the COD starting from Kartik 20, 2082 at 3:15 PM. The announcement marks the formal start of the project’s commercial electricity production.
