Lumbini Bank to convene AGM on Mangsir 5; book closure from Kartik 14

Lumbini Bank Ltd has announced its book closure from Kartik 14 for the purpose of holding the annual general meeting (AGM). According to the notice published by the bank, the shareholder register will remain closed from Kartik 14 onwards till Mangsir 5.

This means that the investors buying shares of the bank till Kartik 13 will only be able to get the dividend announced by the bank.

The bank has already proposed 6 percent bonus shares plus 5 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the net profit it has earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

According to the fourth quarterly unaudited financial statement of the bank, it made a net profit or Rs 24.33 crore, up from Rs 14.96 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2069/70.

Lumbini Bank had offered 8 percent dividend to the shareholders from the net profit in the previous fiscal year 2069/70.

Meanwhile, the bank, in its statement, also said that it will convene its 17th AGM on Mangsir 5 at Narayangarh Chitwan. The Bank among other is likely to approve proposed 11 percent dividend distribution agenda.
