Laxmi Laghubitta’s profit falls by 14.97% in the third quarter; Net worth per share stands at Rs 173.61

Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS) has reported 14.97% decrease in net profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the third quarter today, the microfinance company has stated that its net profit decreased to Rs 6.66 crore in third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75, down from Rs 7.82 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.
The microfinance has borrowings of Rs 1.56 arba in the 3rd quarter compared to Rs 1.27 arba in the corresponding quarter last year. Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 2.59 arba, up from 2.01 arba. It has collected deposits of Rs 86.80 crore.
It has paid up capital of Rs 24.20 crore with reserve of Rs 17.81 crore in Q3.
Laxmi Laghubitta’s net interest income has fallen from Rs 17.66 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 17.60 crore in the third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75.
It has posted an operating profit of Rs 10.24 crore in Q3, decrease of 15.79% from Rs 12.16 crore in corresponding quarter.
The microfinance’s non-performing loan (NPL) has increased from 0.41% in the corresponding quarter to 1.21% in Q3.
Its Earning per Share (EPS) now stands at Rs 36.69, net worth per share at Rs 173.61 and P/E ratio at 30.52 times.
