Laxmi Capital Market Unveils NAV Report of Laxmi Equity Fund and Laxmi Unnati Kosh for Month of Shrawan

Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity-oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported a fall in NAV to Rs. 10.51 from Rs. 11.52 in the month of Shrawan.

The scheme began with a fund size of Rs. 1.25 Arba has invested Rs. 78.20 crore in listed shares of different companies.

LEMF has invested Rs. 1.31 crore in public offerings and Rs. 5.41 crores in bond/debentures. This mutual fund has Rs. 17.5 crores as fixed deposits and has Rs. 29.52 crores as a bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 20.42 crore till Shrawan end. In the month before that, the profit was Rs. 1.39 crores.

Similarly, Laxmi Capital Market Limited has also published the financial report of Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) for the month of Shrawan. The NAV for the month of Shrawan stands at Rs. 10.70. The NAV was Rs. 10.56 in the previous month.

This scheme began with a fund size of Rs. 65.2 Crores. The fund has invested Rs. 34.50 crores in listed shares and Rs. 1.16 crores in public issues. While the bank balance is Rs. 21.21 crores, the fund has invested Rs. 7 crores in fixed deposits. The fund also has Rs. 5.1 crores in debentures.

Laxmi Unnati Kosh has reported a net loss of Rs. 7.36 crores the month of Shrawan. In the previous month, the net profit was Rs. 3.18 crores.

Note that both the fund have distributed 5% cash dividend to its unit holders from the profit of the FY 78/79.
