Laxmi Bank (LBL) proposes 11.5% Dividend for FY 2076/77: How much in bonus shares and cash?

Laxmi Bank Limited (LBL) has proposed an 11.5% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77.

The 236th meeting of the board of directors held on December 14 has decided to distribute 9% bonus shares and 2.5% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. The bonus share amounts to 8,831,303.56 units and the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 245,313,988.

Note that this dividend will be distributed only after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. As of writing, the bank's last day close stands at Rs. 288.
