Laxmi Bank becomes ADB’s Leading Partner Bank of 2021 in Nepal for 2nd year in a row

For the second year in a row, Laxmi Bank has been honored with the title of Leading Partner Bank Award in Nepal by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under their Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP). This recognition comes in the light of the highest number of transactions conducted in collaboration with ADB.

The awards are based on collaboration with ADB from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. During the period, Laxmi Bank has been the most active partner bank from Nepal, covering trade transactions of both small and large deals for corporates and SMEs. The title of ‘Leading Partner Bank in Nepal’ honors Laxmi Bank’s endeavors in strengthening capacity in trade finance, operational efficiency, financial health, and risk management.

The award was presented in a virtual award ceremony held recently due to the current scenario of the COVID-19 crisis. Over 200 partner bank representatives attended the ceremony where 25 banks were recognized in 20 categories, according to a press release.
