Landslide and change in listing rate affects overall profitability of Ngadi Group Power; EPS at Rs. 13.30

Ngadi Group Power Company Limited (NGPL) has published the unaudited first-quarter report for FY 2077/2078. As per the report, the net profit of the company decreased to Rs. 1.78 crores from Rs. 3.17 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
As per the management, Siuro Khola Jalavidyut Aayojana had a major impact on its operation due to landslide. Since the listing price agreement between the company and NEA ended with Mangsir, the income from the sale of electricity declined in this quarter.
The company’s paid-up capital stood at Rs. 53.55 crores. Similarly, the company has Rs. 8.77 crores as reserves.
The company earned Rs. 3.11 Crores from the sale of electricity and Rs. 76.39 Lakhs from other income in Q1. The company reported an operating profit of Rs. 3.18 crores as compared to Rs. 4.75 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The annualized EPS of the company stood at Rs. 13.30 and Net worth per share stood at Rs. 116.38. The company quarter-end P/E ratio stands at 14.29 times.
