Kulman Singh Ghising appointed as Managing Director of NEA

Kulman Ghising has been elected as Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). A meeting held among ministers on 22^nd Bhadra, 2073 appointed Mr. Ghising as the Managing Director of NEA. Kul Man Singh Ghising is a former Managing Director of Chilime Hydropower Company Limited.He had initiated construction of 3 hydropower companies with the earning of Chilime Hydropower Company. Former Energy Minister Radha Gyawali has transferred Mr Ghising to NEA. Mr Ghising is now 11^th level of NEA. He was appointed as the new Managing Director as Former Managing Director Mukesh Raj Kafle resigned from the post. Mr Kafle had submitted resignation letter to Prime Minister Puspa Kamal Dahal on Friday. After 5 days of resignation of Mr Kafle , Government of Nepal decided to recruit Mr Ghising. Minister of Energy had formed a 3 member committee to appoint Mr. Ghising as the Managing Director and had ordered to refer a name within 3 days.
