KMC Warns Schools of Permission Cancellation for Failing to Submit Scholarship Details

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued a stern warning to institutional schools for their failure to submit scholarship distribution details. The Metropolitan Office, responsible for overseeing educational institutions within its jurisdiction, had previously issued a notice on Jestha 10, requesting schools to provide the necessary information. However, despite the initial notice, a staggering 342 schools have not complied with the requirement within the specified time.

Due to this noncompliance, the Metropolitan Corporation has now issued a second notice, reiterating the importance of submitting the scholarship details by Jestha 18. Schools failing to meet this deadline have been informed that their permission or approval granted by the Metropolitan Municipality may be revoked.

Scholarships play a crucial role in supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds and enabling them to pursue education. The Metropolitan Office's initiative to gather accurate information regarding scholarship distribution aims to ensure transparency and accountability in the educational sector. It is expected that the provided details will enable the authorities to assess the equitable distribution of scholarships and identify any potential gaps or discrepancies.
