Kamana Sewa profit decline by meager margin despite 21% rise in net interest income; EPS stands at Rs 11.30

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has posted 7 percent decline in net profit in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. Its net profit has declined to Rs 21.21 crore from Rs 22.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.

According to the unaudited financial report published by the development bank today, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank’s net interest income has risen to Rs 59.94 crore in Q3 as compared to Rs 49.21 crore in the corresponding quarter. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 2.50 arba.

Deposits collection reached Rs 20.27 arba till Q3 from Rs 14.37 arba in the corresponding period last year.

Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 17.90 arba till Q3 of FY 2075/76 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs 13.07 arba.

Its non-performing loan has decreased to 1.07 percent in Q3 from 1.93 percent in the previous year report.

KSBBL’s earning per share (EPS) stand at Rs 11.30, net worth per share at 145.04, and the P/E ratio at 12.65 times.

KSBBL has proposed 9.5% dividend (1.5% bonus and 8% cash) for the fiscal year 2074/75 which yet to be endorsed by its AGM and its last trading price on NEPSE is Rs 154.
