Kalika Microcredit Development Bank 8th AGM on Falgun 19; endorsing 21.21% bonus shares

Kalika Microcredit Development Bank Limited (KMCDB) will be convening its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Falgun 19, 2074. The AGM is going to be held at Hotel Venus, Syangja at 11:00 AM. The main agendas of the AGM are:
  • To endorse 21.21% bonus shares and Rs 9.21 lakh cash dividend (for tax) from the net profit of Rs 2.22 crore it had earned in the FY 2073/74.
  • To conduct election of Board of Directors (BOD).
  • To increase issued and paid up capital.
  • To change the name, address and logo of the company.
  • To extend the working areas.
  • To change the name to Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.
  • To give transfer of authority for the right shares.
  • To give authority to BOD for purchasing land.
  • To transfer the registered office to Kaski, Pokhara.
  • To amend the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA).
Other agendas of the AGM are major financial highlights of the FY 2073/74 and appointment of auditor for the FY 2074/75. The book closure date for the AGM has been set on Falgun 6, 2074. But only those shareholders holding their shares till Falgun 3, 2074 are eligible to participate in the AGM are proposed dividends. Its paid up capital will reach to Rs 10 crore from existing Rs 8.25 crore after distribution of  21.21% bonus shares.
