Kalika Laghubitta Bitiya Sanstha conducts 6th AGM; endorsed 21.21% bonus shares

Kalika Microcredit Development Bank has convened its 6th Annual General Meeting on Saturday which has endorsed its proposed 21.21% dividend.
The AGM which was chaired by chairman of the microfinance Er. Bishnu Prashad Paudel discussed and endorsed the decisions regarding financial highlights and statements of FY 2073-74, appointment of an Auditor for FY 2074-75, cash dividend of Rs 9.21 lakh for tax purpose among other decisions.
The AGM has also endorsed the earlier decision to provide 21.21% bonus shares to be capitalized on its current paid-up value of Rs 8.50 crore and hike it to Rs 10 crore.
Moreover, the AGM has also elected Mr. Biswonath Nepal and Ms. Karuna Pokhrel as the promoters of the microfinance company from the public shareholders. Further, the AGM also renamed the microfinance institution as Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha. The microfinance currently has 46 branches at 15 districts.
