Joint operation of Mega Bank and Paschimanchal Bikas Bank to start from April 25

The joint operation of Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) and Paschimanchal  Bikas Bank Limited (PDBL) to start from April 25, 2016 (13 Baishak, 2073). The merged entity will function as Mega Bank Nepal Limited. Mega Bank had signed a memorandum of understanding with Paschimanchal Bikas Bank for merger on 28 Januray, 2015. The banks received final approval for the merger from Nepal Rastra Bank on Chaitra 30, 2073. Dipendar Agrawal , BoD member of Mega Bank said, “The  trading of Mega Bank will start within Baishak.”
