Janata Bank starts operation from 8 new branches at once; see if it’s near you

Janata Bank, from the start of this fiscal year, has been giving continuity to branch expansion in consistence to spreading banking services to all the local levels of the country. In light of the same, Janata Bank has started operations from 8 new braches at once. The new branches are located as follows:
  1. Rampur-05, Palpa
  2. Tikapur-01, Kailali
  3. Waling-08, Syangja
  4. Maharajung-03, Kathamandu
  5. Gwarko-08, Lalitpur
  6. Nayamil, Tilotama-05, Rupandehi
  7. Dumkibaas, Binayi Tribeni Gaaupalika-01, Bardia
  8. Bhurigaau, Thakurbaba-01, Bardia
After the official inauguration of these branches, Janata Bank now has a network of 106 branches among which 17 are inside Kathmandu Valley. In addition, the bank is providing its services via 33 branchless banking outlets, 2 limited banking units, 3 extension counters and 69 ATMs. Currently, the bank has a deposit balance of Rs. 53 arba 24 crore and Rs. 49 arba 82 crore in credit. After the distribution of bonus shares of fiscal year 2073/74 the bank’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 8 arba 7 lakh.
