Issue with Firewall of TMS disrupts trade for over an hour; NEPSE decides to open market until 6:00 PM today

Nepal Sock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has informed the investors about the issue in the TMS and the extension of trading time.

Today, at 13:42 hrs, NEPSE website was at a standstill as the data provided was not being updates. This continues until the regulation time of the market i.e. 15:00 hrs. After numerous complaints and requests NEPSE informed its investors that the issue has occurred in the Brokers’ systems due to which transactions were not being processed.

As per the notice published, brokers’ system (TMS) had an issue with the Firewall of the Data Center due to which this problem occurred. However, this issue has been solved now and to make up for lost time, market has been opened until 6:00 PM (18:00 hrs) for today.
