IPO of Buddha Bhumi Hydropower Oversubscribed Over 12.76 Times; Issue Closing Tomorrow

Buddha Bhumi Hydropower Company Limited has opened the IPO issue for 8,00,000 units of ordinary shares worth Rs. 8 crores to the general public from Ashwin 11. Since the issue has already been oversubscribed on the first day itself, it will close tomorrow.

The company has issued a total of 800,000 units of shares i.e., 20% of the total issued capital from Ashwin-11, 2078. From the total of 800,000 units, 40,000 units i.e., 5% are for mutual funds. 2% of the total units i.e., 14,000 units are for the employee of the company, and the remaining 7,44,000 units are for the general public.

Civil Capital Market Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. According to the issue manager, 15,90,418 applicants have applied for a total of 2,03,07,220 units. This is the data reported as of 5 pm today. Thus, the issue is oversubscribed over 12.76 times already.

Applications can be placed for a minimum of 10 units to a maximum of 50,000 units.
