Investors have recently seen the arrival of Laxmi Sunrise Bank shares in their demat accounts. Starting from Tuesday, the CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC) commenced the process of crediting shares to investors' demat accounts. This move involved the replacement of shares from the former Laxmi Bank and Sunrise Bank, with shares now registered under the name of Laxmi Sunrise Bank.
Once the shares are safely deposited into investors' accounts, trading can begin once the bank's shares are officially listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The trading symbol designated for the company's shares is "LSL."
The merger of Laxmi Bank and Sunrise Bank was formally initiated on Ashad 29th, marking the commencement of their joint operations under the unified entity, Laxmi Sunrise Bank. This merger is based on an equal swap ratio, with shares being exchanged at a 1:1 ratio for the two merging banks.
