Insurance sector becomes favorite among investors; Nepse Index up by 15.31 points to close at an all-time high of 1546.80 points; Turnover of Rs 1.29 arba

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 15.31 points or 1.00% to close at an all-time high of 1546.80 points. Nepse Index opened at 1531.49 points. In par with what we expected earlier, market has reached a new height. Though only exceeding the earlier peak by 2.15 points, this could mark possibility for another pinnacle in the medium term. Insurance becomes favorites among investors again; however, the stake is finding appropriate companies for greater return within and among lurking sectors. The total turnover of the day stands at Rs 1.29 arba where more than 16 lakhs unit shares were traded through 5,629 transactions. Sensitive Index and float index went up by 3.28 and 1.07 points. Except Hotels and Others, all the sectors at Nepse landed on green. Insurance sector went up by 387.2 points.
