Increment on Weekly Lending and Deposit Figures in Second Week of Ashwin

Nepal Bankers' Association has unveiled an elaborate report on the trend of deposit and lending in the nation's commercial banks.

The total deposit went up by Rs. 38 billion in the second week of Ashwin, and the figure is at Rs. 4,218 billion. Rs. 4,063 billion worth of deposit is in local currency while the rest Rs. 154 billion is in foreign currency.

Meanwhile, the total lending is at Rs. 3,942 billion, up by Rs. 39 billion from the previous week. Rs. 3,788 billion worth of lending has been forwarded in local currency while Rs. 154 billion is in foreign currency.
