IME General Insurance reports decent growth in major indicators; net profits at Rs.6.65 Crore till Q2

IME General Insurance Limited (IGI) has earned a net profit of Rs.6.65 Crore in the Q2 of 2076/77 fiscal year. The profit of the company has increased from Rs.5.85 Crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year.

The net earnings from premium has increased to Rs.30.62 Crore from Rs.26.45 Crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. The company's number of policyholders has increased to 51,313 compared to 41,152 in the corresponding Q2 of last fiscal year.

The insurance company has a paid-up capital of Rs.1.02 Arba with a reserve of Rs.19.90 Crore in Q2 2076/77. The company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs.28.43 Crore in this quarter from Rs.20.72 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

The annualized EPS stands at Rs.13.04 with net worth per share of Rs.147.36. The PE Ratio stands at 27.43 times as of the second quarter end.
