ICRA Nepal Downgrades Nepal Reinsurance Rating to ‘A’ with Negative Watch

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited has seen its issuer rating downgraded by ICRA Nepal Limited from [ICRANP-IR] AA-@ to [ICRANP-IR] A@, while the company remains under “Watch with Negative Implications.”

The revised A rating indicates that Nepal Reinsurance still maintains an adequate degree of safety in servicing financial obligations, but reflects a weaker credit profile compared to its previous rating.
