Hydropower Companies floating IPO worth Rs 17.25 arba in two years

Hydropower companies are floating the Initial Public Offering (IPO) worth Rs 17.25 arba in the next two years.
Public offering of four subsidiaries of Chilime Hydropower Company Ltd worth Rs 8.99 arba, Rs 5.19 arba of Upper Tamakoshi, Rs 2 arba of Hydropower Investment and Development Company Ltd (HIDCL) and Rs 1.49 arba of other companies will be issued within couple of months.
Upper Tamakoshi plans to float the IPO to the residents of Dolakha district where the project is located as well as to the staff of the project and the financers in the first phase while it would be issued to the public in the next phase.
According to Karobar Daily, the IPO process of the subsidiaries of Chilime Hydropower is likely to be floated within a year.
Sanjen, Rasuwagadhi and Madhya Bhotekoshi are issuing the shares of Rs 1.77 arba, Rs 3.35 arba and Rs 3.86 arba respectively. The IPO of these hydropower companies are considered to be the lucrative shares in the capital market.
Likewise, the government owned HIDCL has also said that it has begun the process to seek the approval from the capital market regulator Sebon to go to the public. The company is preparing to float the IPo worth Rs 2 arba.
Similarly, Api Power, United Modi, Aankhu Khola and Barun Hydropower are also planning to issue the IPO.
