The index at Nepal Stock Exchange saw a rise of 46.60% at the end of the year 2072 when compared with the index at the end of the year 2073. On the first trading day of the new year 2073, Nepse index went up by 17.15 points to close at an all time high of 1,405.78 points.

In my opinion, the year 2073 will also be good for the stock market. The third quarter report of banking sectors will be arriving soon. The interest on deposit provided by banks is minimal at present, whereas the interest they take on the lending are high enough and as a result, the quarterly report of the banks will be showing good profit. The banking sector at Nepse will go up after the third quarter reports are published.
Nepse is planning to go online. If the automated trading system is launched this year, then a lot of people will have access to trading which will be beneficial for the market.
These days a lot of people are getting interested in stock markets as the return on investment of shares are better than the returns of the banks provided for deposits.
There might be a slight correction in the market, but on the whole the market will remain in the bullish trend.

At present the market is in bullish trend and the psychology of the investors is positive which will further support the market to move upwards. Banking sector will help the market reach 1700 points, to be specific Everest Bank and Standard Chartered will push the market upward.
By the end of fiscal year 2072/73, both the banks must reach paid up capital of Rs. 4 arba so any positive news from these banks will help the market reach 1700 points.
There will be corrections definitely, but the market will remain in bullish trend in the year 2073 as well.
