Himalayan Bank to convene its 27th AGM on Magh 29; to endorse agendas to increase authorized capital to Rs 12 arba

Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) has published a notice regarding the 27th AGM of the bank. The commercial bank will be convening its AGM on 29th Magh, 2076 (12 February, 2020) at Tribhuwan Army Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu from 11 AM onwards. The main agendas of the AGM includes:

  1. To endorse audited financial reports of FY 75/76. 
  2. Approval of the consolidated balance sheet of its subsidiary, Himalayan Capital Limited.
  3. To increase the authorized capital to Rs 12 arba from existing Rs 10 arba.
  4. To propose 12% cash dividend (including tax) for the shareholders from profits of FY 75/76.
  5. To propose 10% bonus shares for the shareholders and to adjust the issued and paid up capital accordingly.
  6. Appointment of statutory auditor for FY 76/77.
  7. Election of 5 promoter directors. 

The Book closure date is on Magh 13, 2076. Therefore, shareholders maintained on the books on Magh 12, 2076 will be eligible to participate in the AGM and claim dividend.
