Heads Up: Shares of Bishal Bazar Company (BBC) Can Now Be Traded

The shares of Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) are now freed for trading.

NEPSE had halted the trading of Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) and Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) at the same time.

Companies listed in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) are required to present the audited financial reports and the auditor's report within five months after the end of a fiscal year. Although NEPSE had submitted a request to both the companies to present their respective financial reports, both the companies failed to submit the reports on time. Thus, the trading of both companies was halted.

BBC has now uploaded the financial reports from the fiscal year 2073/74 to 2076/77. The partial reports of the fiscal year 2077/78 have also been submitted. With this, the exchange has lifted the suspension with a warning to not break the rules of the capital market hereafter.

Before the trading was halted, BBC had a closing price of Rs. 2,880 per share.
