Gurans Life Insurance Company Limited Convened its 12th Annual General Meeting

Gurans Life Insurance Company Limited has completed its 12th Annual General Meeting. The meeting was held at the company's head office, Raj Bhavan, Tinkune, Kathmandu, from 11 AM to 1 PM. The general assembly has discussed and passed the annual report, and also passed the accounts, profit, loss, balance sheet, and financial statements for the end of Asar 2077 along with the auditor's report.

The Assembly has approved the draft of the preliminary agreement regarding the merger of Union Life and Prime Life together with Gurans Life and approved the work done by the Board of Directors for the merger.

The Assembly has also passed a proposal to appoint appraisers, consultants, and auditors to evaluate the assets and liabilities of the company, determine their remuneration, appoint an actuarial appraiser and determine their remuneration.

In the same way, the assembly has passed a resolution to hand over all the authority for the merger work to the board of directors. It has approved various proposals including 7.44 percent bonus shares proposed from last financial year's profit and 0.39171 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
